For the first time this season, the Willows Honkers were forced to settle for a draw. They and Pierce finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.
Willows avoided a loss thanks to
Damaris Martinez and
Ciara Aguilar, who posted both of Willows' goals. The pair have combined for a total of 11 so far this season.
Willows' draw gives them a new season record of 3-16-1. As for Pierce, they moved theirs to 4-13-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Willows will square off against Williams at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Willows is coming into the game with four straight losses on the road, meaning Williams will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. As for Pierce, they will take on Corning at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
