Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Abington). They snuck past the Conwell-Egan Catholic Eagles with a 71-67 victory on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Galloping Ghosts.

Despite the defeat, Conwell-Egan Catholic had strong showings from Lily Milewski, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 15 rebounds, and Brianna Jackson, who went 6 of 11 on her way to 19 points along with six steals and five boards. That was a full 46.3% of Conwell-Egan Catholic's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariella Parks, who put up nine points.

Abington pushed their record up to 4-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Conwell-Egan Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
