The St. Bernard's Crusaders on the road again  on Monday and play against the Sonoma Academy Coyotes at 1:30  p.m.  on January 15th. St. Bernard's will be strutting in after a  victory while Sonoma Academy will be coming in after a  loss.
 Last Friday, St. Bernard's was able to grind out a solid  victory over Hoopa Valley, taking the game  52-39.
 It was another big night for  Laila Florvilus, who  scored 21 points.  Madelyn Shanahan was another key contributor,  scoring 12 points.
 Sonoma Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a  29-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of Marin Academy on Saturday. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Sonoma Academy in their matchups with Marin Academy: they've now lost three in a row.
 St. Bernard's has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for Sonoma Academy, their loss  ended a three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 10-5.
 St. Bernard's strolled past Sonoma Academy when the teams last played  back in December of 2019 by a score of  50-31. Will St. Bernard's repeat their success,  or does  Sonoma Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
