The Cedar Cliff Colts took care of business in their home opener on Saturday (barely). They came out on top in a nail-biter against Cumberland Valley and snuck past 46-44. This was payback for Cedar Cliff, who suffered a 69-38 loss the last time these two teams met.
Cumberland Valley's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sienna Manns, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals, and Sanai Hill who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Cedar Cliff's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Cumberland Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedar Cliff will take on Harrisburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cumberland Valley is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Susquehanna Township at 7:15 p.m. on December 5th.
