Cook was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Tattnall County on Tuesday. The Hornets put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 8-1 victory. Considering the Hornets have won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

With the win, Cook broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 16-8. As for Tattnall County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 17 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season.
