The Sheridan Blackhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 32 points or more this season. They breezed by Crawfordsville on the road to the tune of 60-20. Given Sheridan's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while Crawfordsville is ranked 398th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kenzie Garner was her usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with six assists and six rebounds. The match was her 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Eaton, who scored 11 points.
Sheridan's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Crawfordsville, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheridan's road trip will continue as they head out to face Tri-Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 4th. As for Crawfordsville, they will challenge Speedway at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
