The Williams Valley Vikings scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They snuck past Upper Dauphin Area with a 55-51 victory. The victory was familiar territory for Williams Valley who now have three in a row.
Despite the loss, Upper Dauphin Area had strong showings from Gracie Griffiths, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds and five steals, and Reagan Wentzel, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. The match was Griffiths' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emilee Deibert, who scored ten points.
Williams Valley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Upper Dauphin Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Our Lady of Lourdes Regional is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Upper Dauphin Area, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Mount Calvary Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Mount Calvary Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
