While it was all tied up 22-22 at halftime, the Norristown Eagles were not quite the Agnes Irwin Owls's equal in the second half on Wednesday. Norristown took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Agnes Irwin. Norristown has not had much luck with Agnes Irwin recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Agnes Irwin got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gabrielle Seibert out in front who scored six points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Simone Harvey, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Norristown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Agnes Irwin, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
Norristown is on the road again on Thursday and play against Chester at 6:00 p.m. on December 28th. Agnes Irwin won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Radnor at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th.
