The Phoenix Spartans won the last time they faced the Bogalusa Lumberjacks, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Phoenix strolled past Bogalusa with points to spare, taking the game 64-50.
RONDELL BATTLE continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with six rebounds. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. DERVONTE ANCAR was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
The victory got Phoenix back to even at 6-6. As for Bogalusa, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Phoenix will look to defend their home court on January 5, 2024 against West Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. As for Bogalusa, they will head out on the road to face off against Salmen at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Salmen is on a three-game streak of home losses, Bogalusa a six-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change.
