Arroyo has been on a difficult stretch since their win on November 29. They came up short against the Marshall Eagles on Thursday, falling 5-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Arroyo of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Arroyo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Marshall, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2-1.
