 Apex's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Southern Alamance, the  win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apex will  face off against Middle Creek at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Apex will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  matchup than the last. As for Southern Alamance, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Orange at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Southern Alamance is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
