The Napa Grizzlies can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They blew past Trinity Prep 49-15 on the road.
Napa's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lily Gonzalez led the charge by scoring 12 points. Another player making a difference was Joy Bradbury, who scored 10 points.
Napa's win bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Trinity Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Napa will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Novato at 6:30 p.m. Novato presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Napa in California (Novato is ranked 448th, while Napa is ranked 1122nd). Trinity Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pacific Union College Prep at 4:30 p.m. on December 12th.
