Baseball Recap: Beyer's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Beyer was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ceres Bulldogs. The Patriots were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Beyer saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Capous, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Beyer moved to 8-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Ceres, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

While Beyer had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
