The Cochranton Cardinals scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Monday. They really took it to Rocky Grove for the full four quarters, racking up a  59-29 win at home. That  59-29 margin sets a new team best for Cochranton this season.
 Cochranton was led to victory by  Shelby McBryar and  Eve Pfeiffer.  McBryar  scored 19 points along with seven  rebounds, while  Pfeiffer  scored 13 points along with eight  assists and five  rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which  McBryar has scored at least 25% of Cochranton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Claire McCartney, who  scored eight points along with six  assists and five  rebounds.
 Cochranton's win  ended a three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 3-3. As for Rocky Grove,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-2.
 Cochranton will head out on the road to face off against Franklin at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Franklin is coming into the  matchup hot, having won their last four games. Rocky Grove will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cambridge Springs at 7:15  p.m.  on January 4, 2024.
