The biggest upset of the week belonged to Yellow Medicine East, who took down 184th ranked Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, 14-7.
Adding to the longest winning streak in West Central this week, Paynesville beat Minnewaska Area 42-13. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Bulldogs.
Benson's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Christan Larson threw for 27 yards and Ryan Hampton had 24 yards receiving. On the ground Larson contributed 81 yards.
Hampton was the best wideout in the league this week as Benson lost to B O L D. Hampton racked up 1 reception for 24 yards.
Aaron Ahrndt has thrown for 484 yards and 3 touchdowns this season, while Hampton has 20 catches for 261 yards. Ahrndt also leads the league in rushing with 388 yards.
Scott Gonnermon's team lost to the Warriors 36-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Larson was a bright spot for Benson, as he ran for 81 yards in the defeat.
