Stimpson Posts Huge Game in 58-35 Defeat
Starting off the list is Jesuit's Joe Stimpson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Stimpson picked up 99 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.
Jesuit's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2. Stimpson and Jesuit will venture away from home to face off against Southridge on Friday.

Heath Thompson's Big Game Leads Westview over Beaverton
Heath Thompson was a major factor in Westview's victory over Beaverton on Friday. Thompson did his part (and then some), rushing for 92 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries for the 'W'.
Unfortunately for Beaverton, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Thompson. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Thompson saw the Beavers), he rushed for 154 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.

Treynor Cleeland Makes It Two for Jesuit
The second Jesuit player making an appearance here is Treynor Cleeland, and for good reason. He threw for 251 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.2% of his passes.
This year, Cleeland has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 191.8 passing yards per game.

Jayce Strand Turns in Season-Best Effort
Jayce Strand produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Westview to the win on Friday. Strand picked up two sacks and made seven total tackles.
On the season, Strand has averaged 6.6 total tackles per game and for the season has 4 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 0.14 total tackles per game.
