The Bishop Miege Stags will venture away from home to  challenge the Atchison Phoenix  on Friday. Bishop Miege has given up an average of 30.5  points per game this season, but Friday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.

  Vinny George was the offensive standout of the  matchup as he rushed for 101 yards and one  TD. That's the most  rushing yards  he has posted since back in November of 2024.  Jeremiah Johnson also deserves some recognition as  he  hauled in his first  receiving touchdown of the season.
 Meanwhile, Atchison was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Wyandotte 56-6. The result was nothing new for the Phoenix, who have now won three games by 27  points or more  so far this season.
 The  victory was their first  on the road , bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Atchison, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
