The Northeastern Bobcats put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 45-38 win over Eastern York. Given Northeastern's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while Eastern York is ranked 268th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northeastern to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nylah Davis, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikayla Coleman, who scored ten points.
Northeastern's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-0. As for Eastern York, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeastern will face off against Dover at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eastern York, they will head out on the road to take on Gettysburg at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
