Brimfield entered their tilt with Peoria Heights on Monday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.
Blake Bruner made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Bruner was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one RBI.
