Gage Hedstrom Dazzles in St. Mary's Win
Starting off the list is St. Mary's Gage Hedstrom, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hedstrom rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 146 yards and four touchdowns. His longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The victory (which was St. Mary's third in a row) raised their record to 5-3. Hedstrom and St. Mary's will square off against Cambridge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Ainsworth picked up their fifth consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Morgan Kinney. Elgin/Pope John had no answer to Kinney as he rushed for 102 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. Kinney also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble and making five total tackles.
Ainsworth pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Kinney and Ainsworth will play host again on Thursday to welcome Kenesaw, where kickoff is scheduled at 6:00 p.m.

Jorgan Condon Delivers Electric Effort Vs North Central
Jorgan Condon was a major factor in Creighton's win over North Central on Thursday. Condon did his part (and then some), rushing for 83 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, while also catching a touchdown for the 'W'. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making three total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending a pass.
Creighton's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Condon and Creighton will take on Weeping Water at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
