Chartiers Valley walked away with a 44-36 win over Upper St. Clair on Monday. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Chartiers Valley has scored all year.
Lilah Turnbull was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 14 points. Iyla Ozbey was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Chartiers Valley pushed their record up to 10-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Upper St. Clair, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Chartiers Valley will be playing at home against Peters Township at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Peters Township presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Chartiers Valley in Pennsylvania (Peters Township is ranked fifth, while Chartiers Valley is ranked 27th). As for Upper St. Clair, they will head out on the road to face off against Canon-McMillan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
