Grant barely beat Douglass the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Generals put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 11-3 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Generals, who have now won seven contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

The win was the third in a row for Grant, bringing their record up to 10-7. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Douglass, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-8-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Grant beat the Trojans by a score of 13-10 later that day.
