Mountain View's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mikayla Kim, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kambria Conover-Emmert, who scored five points.
Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Milpitas, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.
Mountain View will be playing in front of their home fans against Gunn at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Gunn is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Milpitas, they will head out on the road to challenge Saratoga at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
