Linden got themselves on the board against Big Valley Christian on Tuesday, but Big Valley Christian never followed suit. They put the hurt on Big Valley Christian with a sharp 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for Linden, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Justin Sales tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dax Weber, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Cody Cox was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Linden always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Big Valley Christian only posted an OBP of .273.

Linden has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Big Valley Christian, they dropped their record down to 3-12-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Linden will have a chance to go back-to-back against Big Valley Christian: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
