Brookstone came tearing into  Tuesday's  contest with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Calvary Christian Knights by a score of  7-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played  back in April of 2024.
 Luke Lowery spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Brennan Neal was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mercer Hudson, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Neal wasn't the only one making solid contact: Brookstone  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Calvary Christian only managed four  hits.
Brookstone pushed their record up to 17-3 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Calvary Christian, their loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 11-11.
Brookstone will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
