Big Game from Schmidt As Lubbock T Won 52-6
Starting off the list is Lubbock T's Korbin Schmidt, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Schmidt rushed for 144 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries, and also caught a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended two passes.
Lubbock T pushed their record up to 4-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Schmidt and Lubbock T will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on October 31st.

Peyton Ellison Delivers Best Effort of Season
Harvest Christian Academy was led to victory by Peyton Ellison, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Ellison picked up 137 receiving yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 36 yards. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making nine total tackles and defending two passes.
Unfortunately for Johnson County Sports Association, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Ellison. Ellison picked up 112 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground the last time he and the Lions duked it out back in November of 2023.

Sam Tarrant and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Sam Tarrant was instrumental in extending King's Academy's winning streak to seven on Friday. Founders Classical Academy had no answer to Tarrant as he rushed for 94 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 34 yards and two touchdowns. Tarrant is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
This year, Tarrant has thrown 16 touchdowns while averaging 82.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 15.

Scott Dosa Turns in Season-Best Performance
Scott Dosa produced his most outstanding game to date while leading CenTex HomeSchool to the win on Friday. Dosa rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 78 receiving yards and two touchdowns. CenTex HomeSchool is 2-1 when Dosa posts two or more receiving touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise.
With the win, CenTex HomeSchool broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5. Dosa and CenTex HomeSchool will square off against Westlake Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Tucker Grayson Rounds Out Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Tucker Grayson of Johnson County Sports Association. Grayson picked up 28 receiving yards and a touchdown.
