Roosevelt was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .579. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Berthoud made easy work of Thompson Valley on Tuesday and carried off a 16-1 victory.

Meanwhile, Sadar-Holmes pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. At the plate, Olivas went 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Sadar-Holmes earned one RBI, three runs, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Alana Lukensow and Annabelle Hughes did most of the damage at the plate: Lukensow went 3-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, and one double, while Hughes went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Madelyn Kuntz was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs.

Roosevelt beat Berthoud 6-3 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Roughriders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
