Barrington faced Narragansett in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Eagles blew past the Mariners 12-4. Considering the Eagles have won five matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Barrington and bumps their season record up to 10-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Narragansett, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-7.

Coming up, Barrington will be playing at home against Portsmouth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Narragansett, they will head out to square off against Middletown at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
