Spectrum had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Humboldt 56-6. That result is just more of the same for Spectrum, who also won the last time these teams played.
Spectrum's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 34 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Humboldt couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 34-0 heading into the break. The offense for Spectrum continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 22 points. This was the first game for both teams, giving Spectrum a 1-0 record and starting Humboldt off at 0-1.
Next week, Spectrum take on Roosevelt at 7:00 PM. As for Humboldt, they will face off against Como Park.
