Nytavis Powell Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Montgomery Central's Nytavis Powell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Powell rushed for 184 yards while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and also picked up 66 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.
Montgomery Central's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Powell and Montgomery Central will take on Central Davidson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
