The Valencia Vikings will face off against the Trinity Classical Academy Knights at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Valencia comes in on five and Trinity Classical Academy on 16.
Valencia is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Camarillo with a sharp 14-5 victory on Saturday.

Connor Crawford looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jack Yamamura, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Casey Nickson was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Valencia kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Trinity Classical Academy never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Desert Christian as they made off with a 15-0 win. Trinity Classical Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by seven runs or more this season.
John Carlson was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one double.
In other batting news, Aiden Visconti was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Luke Backes, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Trinity Classical Academy pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Valencia, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.
