The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Oilers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Boone Grove was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 247 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 94 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five games they've averaged 223.
Meanwhile, Lake Station Edison played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 58-20 loss at the hands of East Chicago Central. The Fighting Eagles were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Boone Grove will have to contain David Parker as he made an impact in Lake Station Edison's last game. He rushed for 195 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. Parker's longest rush was for an incredible 92 yards.
Lake Station Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Boone Grove, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Boone Grove has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 158.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Lake Station Edison struggles in that department as they've been averaging 333.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
