The Jeannette Jayhawks won the last time they faced Hillel Academy, and things went their way on Thursday too. Jeannette breezed by Hillel Academy on the road to the tune of 48-6. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Jeannette has managed all season.
Jeannette's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adriana Allison, who dropped a triple-double on 18 points, 11 rebounds, and ten steals. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Venicia Vignoli, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Jeannette now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Hillel Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jeannette will take on Leechburg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Leechburg is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Hillel Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Neighborhood Academy.
