The Millersburg Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 26 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Line Mountain 66-33 at home. With that victory, Millersburg brought their scoring average up to 51.4 points per game.
Millersburg was led to victory by Jana Strait and Emma Miller. Strait almost dropped a triple-double on 13 points, nine rebounds, and 12 assists, while Miller dropped a double-double on 25 points and 19 rebounds. The game was Miller's third in a row with at least ten points. Fallon Mcfadden was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 11 rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Millersburg and bumps their season record up to 10-2. As for Line Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millersburg will take on Greenwood at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Line Mountain, they will head out on the road to face off against East Juniata at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
