Warren Central and Ben Davis meet with the winner advancing to the 6A Indiana regional championships.

Ben Davis and Warren Central have each won eight state championships and the winner of this one will have a good chance at No. 9. This is the second matchup of the year between the two and Ben Davis handed Warren Central its largest loss, 45-16, in over a decade in the earlier meeting.

Southern California has some prime time games lined up. Gardena Serra and Long Beach Poly have produced a boatload of NFL talent over the years and don't expect things to change with the players they have this season.

The South Coast league title is on the line on Friday between San Clemente and Mission Viejo. Both 9-0 and this is the 11th matchup between the two since 2004 with the Diablos owning a 10-0-1 record over this span.

Storyline

Two of the best programs in Indiana high school football history meet this Friday in a win-or-go-home situation. This will be the 20th meeting between the two and Warren Central has won 15 of the previous 19 but Ben Davis won this season's earlier matchup by nearly 30 points.

Storyline

Two of the most prestigious schools from Southern California meet Friday and this game features some of the best players in the state. Long Beach Poly has a ton of legit weapons on offense but the defense has been key for Antonio Pierce in 2017. They have not allowed more than 12 points this season and are allowing less than five points per game. Serra brings in one of the most explosive offenses in the state led by a trio of big-time wide receivers in Addison, Smith and Jackson.

Storyline

IMG Academy has two games left on the schedule and up first is a trip to Alabama to take on Hoover, the defending 7A state champs. The Buccaneers had their seven game winning streak snapped last week against Thompson. The Ascenders have played one of the toughest schedules this season and have won every game by at least two scores. IMG has won 35 straight and hasn't dropped a game under current head coach Kevin Wright.

The South Coast league title is up for grabs. Neither team has dropped a game in 2017 and each enter this contest with 351 points scored on the season. San Clemente hasn't had any recent success against Mission Viejo, losing seven straight against the Diablos.

Storyline

Two of the Hawaii's best teams meet in the OIA Division 1 Championship game this Saturday night at Aloha Stadium. The Red Raiders lone loss came against No. 9 Bingham (Utah) in Las Vegas, a game they played without their starting quarterback. Mililani enters this game 10-0. Both squads are big-time in the trenches and whoever wins the battle at the line of scrimmage will have a really good chance to claim the OAI D-I trophy.

American Fork (American Fork, Utah) @ East (Salt Lake City)

Storyline

East took a jump up in classification this season and had no problem in the opening round of the 6A Utah state playoffs. The Leopards have now won nine straight postseason games dating back to 2015. This will be the first meeting between the two since 2008 and East has won three of the last four against American Fork.

This will be the 16th meeting between the two since 2004 and St. John's has dominated the series with 10 wins in the last 15 games. The Cadets are one win away from finishing league play 5-0 and their only two losses this year came against No. 7 St. John Bosco and No. 20 De La Salle.

Oak Ridge is hoping this is the year they can finally get by Folsom. The Bulldogs have won 11 in a row and haven't lost to the Trojans since 2006. Both teams enter 9-0 and the winner clinches the Sierra Foothill League title. Outside of the Trinity League you could make a strong case the SFL is the toughest in California.

Storyline

The 6A-Region IV District 27 is one of the toughest in Texas. A Judson win clinches the league title. If Smithson Valley can knock off the No. 13 team there could potentially be a three-way tie at the top. This will be the 13th meeting between the two since 2004 and Smithson Valley has won eight of the previous 12.
