After two weeks on the road, Waterville-Elysian-Morristown is heading back home. On Friday they take on Le Sueur-Henderson at 7:00 PM. Waterville-Elysian-Morristown have bulldozed their previous four opponents, so Le Sueur-Henderson might have their hands full.
Waterville-Elysian-Morristown put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They were fully in charge, breezing past New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva 48-6. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-0.
Meanwhile, Le Sueur-Henderson had enough points to win and then some against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop, taking their match 33-14. The success made it back-to-back wins for Le Sueur-Henderson.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 4-1. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Le Sueur-Henderson and Waterville-Elysian-Morristown clash.
