Linfield Christian has won four straight games at home, while Aquinas has won four straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much  on Thursday. The Linfield Christian Lions will take on the Aquinas Falcons at 3:30  p.m. Linfield Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8  runs per game  this season.
Linfield Christian is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of California's top teams: Temescal Canyon, who was ranked 13th  at the time (Linfield Christian was ranked 21st). Linfield Christian fell just short of Temescal Canyon by a score of  3-1 on Saturday. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their undefeated season.

 Noah Getz was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  struck out six batters over  4.2 innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   three  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in March of 2024.
 At the plate, Linfield Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Caelin Thomason, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Aquinas made easy work of Woodcrest Christian  on Monday and carried off  a  12-1 victory. Fans of the Falcons have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+  runs.
 Gavin Egan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits any time he's  pitched this season. He was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing  Two bases. while going 1-for-1.
 In other batting news, Aquinas let  Mason Greenhouse and  Carter Hadnot run wild. Greenhouse  went 2-for-3 with two  triples, two  runs,  and one  RBI, while  Hadnot  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Hadnot is  crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: he's   snagged at least one every time he's  taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Max Lopez, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double.
 Aquinas' win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Linfield Christian, their  loss was their first of the  season and  makes their record 6-1-1.
