Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jenks). They walked away with a 55-48 victory over the Mustang Broncos on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won five in a row.
Several Broncos players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaden O'Neal, who threw for 311 yards and four TDs while completing 79.2% of his passes, and also punched in one rushing score. Mustang's leading receiver Jaden Johnson was O'Neal's top target yet again, picking up 184 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Jenks' victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Mustang, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.
