The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Alabama School for the Deaf in their matchups with Wadley: they've now lost four in a row.
Wadley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tedrick Burns led the charge by scoring 16 points. Burns also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Frisco Robertson, who scored nine points along with five steals and four blocks.
Alabama School for the Deaf bumped their record down to 4-11 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Wadley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
