The Perkiomen School Panthers lost against the George School Cougars back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Perkiomen School received a tough blow as they fell 68-51 to George School. Perkiomen School has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
George School's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gianna Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Johnson has scored at least 25% of George School's points. Another player making a difference was Basha Harrington, who scored 12 points.
Perkiomen School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for George School, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Perkiomen School will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hill School at 4:00 p.m. on January 10, 2024. George School will take on Archbishop Carroll in a holiday battle at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday at.
