Midlakes had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Aquinas Institute on Saturday. The Screaming Eagles blew past the Little Irish 3-0. The Screaming Eagles were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Little Irish, so the Screaming Eagles were just returning the favor.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 25-21.

Midlakes has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Aquinas Institute, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-9.
