The California School for the Deaf-Riverside Cubs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They secured a 59-55 W over Hamilton. California School for the Deaf-Riverside's victory was all the more impressive since the Bobcats were averaging only 27.29 points allowed on the season.
Gianna Visco was her usual excellent self, scoring 30 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of California School for the Deaf-Riverside's points. Another player making a difference was Juliana Diaz, who scored 11 points.
The victory was the fourth in a row for California School for the Deaf-Riverside, bringing their record for this year to 10-14. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Hamilton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. California School for the Deaf-Riverside and the Eagles will face off at 5:00 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully United Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday. As for Hamilton, they will head out on the road to take on the Braves at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
