The Westmoor Rams's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Jefferson Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Jefferson took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Westmoor, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Westmoor earned a 48-40 victory over the Mustangs.
Meanwhile, Jefferson's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 46-38 to El Camino. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Jefferson in their matchups with the Colts: they've now lost three in a row.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Grace Wang, who scored three points along with nine rebounds and four steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. Another player making a difference was Jerzey Gallegos, who scored ten points.
Westmoor has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Jefferson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.
Westmoor ended up a good deal behind the Grizzlies when the teams last played back in January, losing 46-32. Can Westmoor avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
