The Ripon Christian Knights took care of business in their home opener on Monday (barely). They skirted past Beyer 41-38.
Ripon Christian was led to victory by Reagan Van der hoek and Maddie Yonker. Van der hoek scored 8 points along with 13 rebounds and 6 steals, while Yonker scored 16 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Mikaela Oosterman was another key contributor, scoring 2 points along with 9 rebounds.
Ripon Christian's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Beyer, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Ripon Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Millennium at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Beyer's road trip will continue as they head out to face Enochs.
