Logan/Palco are taking a road trip to take on the Greeley County Jackrabbits at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Logan/Palco is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
On Friday, Logan/Palco didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Dighton, but they still walked away with a 26-20 win.

Logan/Palco relied on the efforts of Case Ashmore, who rushed for 105 yards and three TDs, and Taden Gottschalk, who rushed for 86 yards and one score on only eight carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Ashmore a new career-high.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Logan/Palco was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 230 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 207 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Another reason for the win was Logan/Palco's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Dighton's QB won't forget Buster States anytime soon given he sacked him twice.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 34 points the game before, Greeley County was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a blow against Wallace County, falling 58-8. While losing is never fun, the Jackrabbits can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas football rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Wildcats are ranked 22nd).
Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed six in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Caleb Young, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Logan/Palco's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Greeley County, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.
Friday's game might be decided in the trenches. Logan/Palco has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 263 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Greeley County, though, as they've been averaging only 63.8 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
Everything came up roses for Logan/Palco against Greeley County in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 52-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Logan/Palco since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
