Bonita has gone a perfect 10-0 against Glendora recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bearcats will be playing at home against the Tartans at 3:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Bonita sitting on five straight wins and Glendora on three.
If Bonita beats Glendora with eight runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Bearcats never let Walnut get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Bearcats, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Bonita got a great performance from Sammy Duenas as he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave Duenas a new career-high in strikeouts (five).
On the hitting side, Bonita let Landen Lambert and Cody White run wild. Lambert went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while White went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that Lambert has hit this season.
Meanwhile, Glendora narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Flintridge Prep 1-0.
Not much got past Santiago Garza, who gave up just two hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Flintridge Prep off the board. Garza has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Glendora saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
Bonita's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Glendora, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.
Bonita skirted past Glendora 7-6 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Do the Bearcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
