Union City is 8-2 against the Eagles since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Union City Bears will head out on the road to take on the Youngsville Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Despite the loss, Union City saw an underclassman step up: Brooke Vantassel scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Greer, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Youngsville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Monday after their seventh straight loss. They took a serious blow against Saegertown, falling 60-13. Youngsville has not had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Union City's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Youngsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Union City against the Eagles in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 68-15 win. With Union City ahead 43-9 at the half, the match was all but over already.
