After only one run in their last matchup, Southland Academy made sure to put some runs up on the board against Flint River Academy on Tuesday. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Southland Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Flint River Academy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-9.
