Make it 13 blowout wins for the John Adams Academy Patriots this season. They really took it to Golden Sierra for the full four quarters, racking up a  66-21 win at home. The  match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  37-11.
 John Adams Academy found their leader in underclassman  Elliott Schwartz, who  dropped  a triple-double on 31 points, 11  assists, and 12  steals. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which  Schwartz has scored at least a third of John Adams Academy's points.  Grace Sabbagh was another key contributor,  scoring six points along with five  rebounds.
 Golden Sierra's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Skyler Tory, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 11  rebounds. Tory is on a roll when it comes to  rebounds, as she's  now  pulled down 11 or more in the last six games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Zofia Bradford, who  scored nine points along with five  rebounds and two  steals.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Golden Sierra  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only  an  assist. They  were crushed by their opponents in that department as John Adams Academy  racked up 20  assists.
 The  victory  makes it two in a row for John Adams Academy and  bumps their season record up to 18-6. As for Golden Sierra, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
 John Adams Academy has the luxury  of staying home another  game and will welcome the Cavaliers at 6:00  p.m.  on February 1st. Sacramento Country Day comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last 11 games, a trend the  squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Golden Sierra, they will head out on the road to  take on  the Spartans at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
