 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Cristian Banuelos, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and three  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Anthony Santiago, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 North Hollywood's defeat  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 16-12. As for Verdugo Hills, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-11.
 As of now, neither North Hollywood nor Verdugo Hills have any future games scheduled.
